The Spring semester came to a close and I found myself reflecting on the work, dedication, and growth I’ve witnessed over the past few months. Teaching is always a privilege, and I want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate a few exceptional individuals who consistently went above and beyond (in alphabetical order, by last name).
Iván de la Rosa Ocampo – You had a perfect record in the 17 homeworks, and were top of the class (Financial Mathematics)
Emilio González Castillo – You are a natural collaborator, and your participation made our virtual classroom a better place.
María Lucía López Ochoa – Your analytical insights and thoughtful questions sparked engaging class discussions.
Paola Montero Fanjul – You were top of the class (Cálculo Actuarial), and a very enthusiastic student.
Manuel Soto Baños – You showed great commitment to learn the subject, and received very good grades.
To all my students: thank you for your energy, curiosity, and commitment.
Until then—rest, recharge, and remember how far you’ve come.
